When Life Hands You Lemons Make a Wreath

Well, I've made yet another wreath. I'm sort of obsessed.

What You'll Need

From the Dollar Tree:
Wire Frame - $1
5 Sets of Leaves - $5
6 Fake Lemons - $6
White Flowers - $1

On Hand:
Floral Tape or Floral Wire
or
Curling Ribbon
Hot Glue Gun

1 - Attach the first set of leaves. I started off with floral tape, but ended up liking the curling ribbon better. It's all about personal preference and what you've got on hand. Secure the leaves in at least 2 spots, I did 3. The stem is straight and the frame is curved, so I shaped them and tied them down to looking more natural.

2 - Continue layering the leaves underneath each other and tying them down.

3 - Apply hot glue to a part of the stem near where you've tied them to the frame, and to the back of the lemon and secure them to each other.

The hot glue will drip so make sure you have some type of paper underneath or a good work surface you don't mind getting messy.

4 - Go under each lemon and slide in the white flowers. Once slid underneath put a dab of hot glue to secure them.

5 - Using whatever material you want, make some type of hanger and tie it to the back of the frame. I chose to use wired ribbon and make a large bow out of it, but you can use anything as long is it's strong enough to hold up the wreath.

And that's it! Another inexpensive DIY wreath.
